What kind of owner will do this? Dog left chained to wall and kept in rusty cage outside shop at Figaro Street

A Stomper alerted Stomp to a dog that has been living in poor conditions outside a provision shop at 5A Figaro Street.

Photos sent by the Stomper shows a haggard looking dog chained to a wall. Other photos show the canine inside a rusty metal cage.

Said the Stomper with regard to what she saw:

"The dog has been kept there for at least five years.

"It looks sick. You can see from the photos that a lot of its fur has come off.

"The chain on the wall is very short and the dog's movement is very short. The metal cage is placed around five steps away from where the chain was secured to the wall.

"I can also tell that it's psychologically broken.

"I think the owner of the provision shop uses it as a guard dog.

"The dog needs human interaction and should not be used as a commodity."
