Traffic jam after lorry carrying crane breaks down at one-lane exit from KPE to Nicoll Highway

A Stomper was forced to reverse and take a different exit after a lorry carrying a crane broke down at the KPE's exit to Nicoll Highway at 9.30am today (Dec 15).

The Stomper said he was travelling in the KPE, and taking the exit to Nicoll Highway when he noticed the lorry in the middle of the one-lane road.

A picture he took shows a motorcyclist riding past the lorry on its right, and a van trying to squeeze past it on the left.

"The lorry blocked the whole exit and caused a massive jam," said the Stomper.

"Most of us had to reverse and use the exits to Benjamin Sheares Bridge or Rochor Road."
