Total chaos at Yio Chu Kang Road junction after traffic lights stop working during heavy downpour

Stomper Dilah was in a bus travelling along Yio Chu Kang Road when she found herself involved in a traffic jam today (Nov 20) at 12.30pm.

She realised that the traffic lights at the junction had stopped working resulting in several collisions between vehicles.

Said Dilah:

"It was raining and the traffic lights weren't working.

"We were stuck in the jam for 15 minutes before the bus driver managed to clear away from the traffic.

"When we were leaving the scene, the traffic lights still were not working and I saw one traffic police officer arrive."
