Thanks, Comfort cabby for giving way to ambulance... we like you lah!

Not all heroes wear capes -- some sit in taxis, as one Comfort cabby proved.

In a video circulating on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road, a cabby can be seen giving way to an ambulance outside Central Fire Station in City Hall.

At the beginning of the video, the ambulance can be seen moving out of the fire station into the right-most lane of Coleman Street.

A taxi was in the way of the ambulance and the traffic lights were showing red, meaning that the cabby had to switch lanes to give way.

That was exactly what he or she did.

The cabby inched slightly forward and made way for the ambulance, like what a responsible driver should do.

Read a caption accompanying the video:

"Understanding every seconds count, the taxi driver has the presence of mind to move aside giving the ambulance a clear passage.

"We like this taxi driver, many thumbs Up for him!"
