Taxi barges into car's lane along PIE towards Tuas and jams on brakes causing near accident

Stomper Derrick was driving on the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) yesterday (Oct 21) towards Tuas when a taxi driver cut into his lane near the exit to the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE).

The cabby did not signal or keep a safe distance.

Once he was in front of Derrick, he had to jam brake because he was too near the rear end of a bus in front.

Said the Stomper:

"He almost caused me to hit the rear of his vehicle.

"Luckily, there was no motorcycle or car behind me, if not I don't know what could have happened..."
