Man makes plea for eyewitnesses after driver allegedly hits his van at Upper Serangoon Rd and drives away

Stomper Sugumaran said a driver hit his van from behind but drove off after the accident at 1.25am on Wednesday (July 6) at Upper Serangoon Road.

The Stomper said he had stopped traffic junction to wait for the lights to trn green when the car rammed his van form behind.

The jerk from the impact caused Sugumaran to hit his head on the seat.

He said that he came out of his van to ask the driver what had happened, and asked him to park by the side of the road.

However, the driver drove off at this point.

"There were other cars and taxis at the scene of the accident," said Sugumaran.

"I just hope some kind-hearted should will come forward with information about this incident.

"My van is still in the workshop and I have no way of doing an insurance claim as I have no information about the driver."
