Man injured after accident with e-scooter rider along Yishun walkway -- who simply flees

A man was left injured and bleeding after an accident with a hit-and-run electronic scooter rider this morning (Aug 27).

Netizen Christine Chen had shared what happened with Roads.sg on Facebook.

According to the post, the incident took place along a walking pathway of Yishun Avenue 2 towards Yishun Stadium.

It said:

"Please be careful. A very fast e-scooter male rider hit uncle with his e-scooter, he even immediately stopped to push victim and wanted to BEAT up this uncle (victim is my Qigong Shifu). E-scooter run away fast and escaped."

Police have apparently been alerted to the incident, according to the posting.
