Falling tree misses lorry driver by hair's breadth at Upper Thomson Rd

Stomper Stanley's cousin was driving along Upper Thomson Road yesterday (Feb 14) afternoon when a tree suddenly fell onto the road.
His cousin was just behind a lorry that almost got hit bythe tree when it happened.
"He missed it by a split second," said Stanley.
The tree fell without warning and is the latest in a series of incidents of falling trees including the devastating accident that killed one and injured four others at the Botanic Gardens.
