Explosion heard as cleaning buggy goes up in flames at carpark near Block 324 Ubi Avenue 1

Stomper Roger saw a cleaning buggy go up in flames on Aug 16 at a carpark in front of Block 324, Ubi Avenue 1.

Photos sent by the Stomper show the burning vehicle and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel putting out the fire.

The buggy was almost completely burnt. Roger reported hearing a small explosion as it was burning.

By the time the flames were extinguished, the buggy had been reduced to charred scraps.

A blue-coloured Mitsubishi parked beside the buggy was slightly damaged.

No one was injured by the fire.
