E-bike rider travels at 60km/h, hits taxi and rides off at Serangoon Road

Stomper Kelvin spotted this electronic bike rider travelling at 60km/h and hitting a taxi at Serangoon Road on Nov 9 at around 4.30pm.

According to the Stomper, the rider was travelling at high speed without a helmet and was overtaking other cars and buses prior to hitting the taxi/

He said: "At a zebra crossing, this e-biker hit a taxi (SHA3326R) and rode off. The taxi gave chase and the e-scooter rode up a pedestrian walkway."

The Stomper continued: "This action is dangerous to both road users and walkway users. Not forgetting the e-bike was riding in the middle lane with no helmet, no insurance and using an illegal motorized mode of transport."
