Do you know this uncle? SPCA is looking for him in relation to alleged monkey abuse at Woodlands Waterfront Park

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is searching for a man to assist them in a case of an alleged monkey abuse.

According to the SPCA website, the incident occurred at Woodlands Waterfront Park, near the Shell Jetty on September 24 at around 7pm.

The man was seen riding an electric bicycle with a brown handlebar basket.

He was wearing a red t-shirt with white lines and a pair of beige cargo pants.

The SPCA is urging anyone who can identify the man in the picture to call their 24-hour hotline at 6287 5355 (ext. 9) or email inspector@spca.org.sg.

Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

Under the Animals and Birds Act, anyone who is found guilty of cruelty to animals, including abandonment of any animal can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to $15,000, or both.
