Close shave! Kid nearly gets run over by oncoming car after dashing in between vehicles at Balestier Road

A young boy came very close to being knocked down by a car, after running freely on a road and in between vehicles that had stopped at a traffic light.

The incident is said to have taken place at Balestier Road on June 29, at around 7.15pm.

A video of the near-accident was uploaded on Facebook by Roads.sg and credited to netizen 'Markus'.

It shows the boy zig-zagging past vehicles and nearly getting hit by an oncoming car.

Fortunately, the driver swerved slightly to the right just in time, narrowly avoiding a collision and allowing the boy to escape unscathed.
