Bus 27 door shatters along Tampines Ave 10

Stomper JayaNesh was travelling on SBS bus 27 at around 12pm today (May 29) when the door suddenly shattered along Tampines Avenue 10.

In the photos JayaNesh contributed, a huge hole can be seen in the rear door of the SBS bus. Pieces of shattered glass are strewn all over the bus deck.

Said the Stomper:

"We were on the bus when the glass suddenly shattered as the bus was travelling near a construction site.

"Some passengers alerted the bus driver and he stopped and told us to alight. No one was injured.

"Everyone was shocked when the glass shattered, it was as if there had been a small blast."
