Appeal for witnesses: 68-year-old grandmother killed after bus rolls down slope in Bukit Panjang

A netizen is appealing for information after his grandmother was killed in an accident yesterday (Sep 2) at around 10am at the junction of Bukit Panjang Ring Road and Bukit Panjang Road.

According to a Facebook on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road, the netizens' grandmother was waiting for a taxi by the road when she was hit by a road sign that was dislodged after a bus rolled down a slope.

"The driver claimed that he was not in the bus during the accident.

"He said that he went to toliet and when he was back, the whole accident happened.

"The road sign hit on my grandma on the face. 

"Her leg had an open wound and her bone can be seen.

"She was pronouced dead at NUH at around 11.15 am."
