3 sent to hospital after driver turns into oncoming traffic and crashes head-on with van

An accident involving three vehicles occurred at Changi Business Park Avenue 3 today (May 17) at around 11.45am.

Stomper Derik, who works nearby, heard a loud 'bang' before going to the window to see what had happened.

One car had appeared to have turned into oncoming traffic resulting in a head-on collision with a van and causing damage to another car.

Stomper Lance, who also contributed a photo of the scene, said that all three vehicles were badly damaged.

"I believe two people were injured in the accident," said the Stomper.

In response to Stomp queries, a police spokesperson said:

"On 17 May 2017 at 11.40am, the police were alerted to an accident involving a van and two cars at the junction of Changi South Avenue 3 and Changi Business Park Avenue 3.

"Three persons aged between 31 and 46 were conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
