A water leakage incident at Jurong Point caused pools of water in some areas of the mall on Saturday evening (Apr 29).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared clips showing water streaming from a hole in the ceiling above Prata Wala on the first floor.

He also shared footage of shoppers getting their feet wet walking through a pool of water.

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman from Jurong Point said that the leakage occurred in certain areas at Basement 1, Level 1 and Level 3 at about 6pm.

"The affected areas were immediately cordoned off for cleaning and repair works," the spokesman said.

"Our operations team had responded immediately to render assistance and clean up the affected areas.

"No injuries were reported.

"Most of the affected shops have resumed normal operations while a partial area within Ichiban Boshi remains closed.
