A group of students from Serangoon Garden Secondary School came to the aid of a worker whose cart had stalled while making a U-turn on a zebra crossing just outside the school on Thursday afternoon (April 5).
Stomper Agnes was passing by the school at 21 Serangoon North Avenue 1 at about 3pm when she witnessed the heartwarming sight.
The group — five guys and a girl — pushed and pulled, successfully manoeuvring the cart into position.
The cleaner then got on the cart and moved off after thanking the students.
Said Agnes:
“I think it’s really nice.
“Most people will shy away from such situations, but the students went up to help.”
