Sengkang resident who left vulgar note about "stupid drumming" gets free English lesson

A resident at Compassvale Walk in Sengkang put up a notice lecturing others for noise disturbances -- only to end up getting a lesson of his own.

The notice, which contained vulgarities, complained about the inconsiderate act of drumming and creating a racket on weekends.

Stomper Brian submitted a photo of the angry notice, which appeared to have been taped up at the block:

Someone had not only paid attention to the notice, but had also taken the time and effort to copy-edit it. Corrections to grammar and language had been made in striking red ink.

Here is the original note unedited and in full:

To Residents at Block 234,

I am would like to highlight to you that this is residential area, stop your bloody stupid drumming as it is disturbing other residents who are trying to have some peace and quiet over weekend afternoon at home from a long working weekdays.

Your actions is dammed bloody inconsiderate and selfish. again would highlight that you are not staying alone in this neighborhood.

As there is a music studio at Rivervale Plaza which I think you should go there and booked their facilities or room to practice your drumming.

YOU ARE A BLOODY IDIOT ***KER AND I THINK EITHER YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT YOU DON'T OWN THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD OR YOU ARE JUST A SELFISH B****** WITHOUT ANY IQ!!!

The 'teacher' had even included comments of his own, such as saying that the writer had "limited vocabulary".

To top it off, there was even a touch of sarcasm.
