Rider beats red light while travelling with birdcage in one hand at Ang Mo Kio

A motorcyclist carrying a bird cage with one hand was caught on video beating a red light at a junction in Ang Mo Kio on Sunday afternoon (June 16).

Stomper William shared a video of the rider that was taken at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Street 31 and Ang Mo Kio Street 32.

In the video, the rider is seen picking up a covered bird cage with his left hand and moving despite the traffic light being red.

A car turning left has to stop to avoid him while a pedestrian crossing the road forces him to come to a stop before he continues on his way.

"This rider was riding with one hand and the other carrying a birdcage as he beat the red light," said William.

"His bike was full of plastic bags and all sorts of things."
