Rider, 24, taken to hospital after accident with car at Ang Mo Kio junction

A 24-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident with a car at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Street 22 and Ang Mo Kio Street 23 on Wednesday evening (Mar 24).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the accident and shared a video taken at the scene.

In the video, a motorcycle is seen lying on the road.

A man and a woman are standing near the bike while the man takes photos.

Another man is seen sitting on the kerb holding his shoulder in pain.

In response to a Stomp media query, the police said it was alerted to the accident at about 6.19pm.

The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, was conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, a spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
