Hari Raya Puasa (Apr 22) is right around the corner and you can find festive decorations all over the island, even at neighbourhood fire stations.

Stomper Anne was amused and impressed when she spotted two giant ketupats made from fire hoses hanging outside Punggol Fire Station.

Ketupat is a traditional Malay food made of cooked rice compressed and wrapped in woven coconut leaves.

"I would like to share a very creative and great effort from our Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) team in creating these giant ketupats for our upcoming Hari Raya by using fire hoses," she said.

"To make ketupat with normal leaves takes a lot of skill because it is hard to do, what more using a huge hose like this!

"I am super amazed at this, kudos to the team!

"Selamat Hari Raya SCDF!"
