Quirky couple takes wedding photos at Orchard Knightsbridge Apple shop

A Singaporean couple decide to take their love of Apple products to the next level, by taking wedding photos in the newly-opened Apple store at Orchard Road’s Knightsbridge mall.

The 34-year-old groom and his 31-year-old bride decided to forgo a traditional Chinese marriage ceremony and opted to do their wedding shoot at the Apple’s first retail store in Singapore instead, reports Lianhe Wanbao via Lianhe Zaobao

The bride when interviewed, told reporters that the two had intended to take their wedding photos at Tampines Round Market & Food Centre, but upon learning that the Apple store was opening soon, decided to do their shoot there instead.

She said:

“My husband initially didn't want to do a wedding shoot, as he was afraid he’ll be awkward in front of a camera.

“He however, being a Apple fan, agreed after I suggested that we do the shoot at the Apple store.”

However, the details of this plans were only finalised half an hour before the store’s opening.

The couple arrived at the Apple store on Saturday half an hour before its official opening time at 10am, to ask if they could do their wedding shoot there.

The manager graciously agreed to let them in 10 minutes before the opening time and although there were customers entering the store, they managed to complete the shoot.

They even had a mini ceremony where the bride walked down the 'aisle', where customers in the shop cheered and gave the newlyweds their blessings.
