Police investigating theft at Golden Mile Food Centre

The police are investigating a case of theft-in-dwelling that happened at Golden Mile Food Centre on Jan 1.

Stomper William alerted Stomp to the incident and said that he heard about what happened while he was having lunch at about 1pm at the food centre.

However, he did not take any photos or videos.

"I was informed of a theft of $1,000 in cash from a stall at Golden Mile Food Centre," he said.

"Shortly afterwards, police officers arrived and started interviewing stall owners and helpers."

In response to a Stomp media query, the police said they were alerted to the case at about 12.33pm.

Police investigations are ongoing.
