Police called in after youths engage in heated argument at Toa Payoh

Police were called in after two groups of youths were caught on camera engaging in a heated argument near Block 201 at Toa Payoh North.

The incident happened at 7.30pm on Dec 6.

A video which was sent to Stomp, shows a group of youths at the void deck of Block 201 arguing with another group of youths that were standing on the road opposite the Singapore Press Holdings News Centre building.

In the video, the youths can be heard shouting at one another but it is unclear what the youths were arguing about or what led to the dispute.

Police later arrived and were seen talking to the group of youths that were standing on the road.

The incident also attracted attention from onlookers and some were even taking photos.

In response to media queries, the police said, "On 6 Dec 2017 at 7.29pm, we were alerted to a case of unlawful assembly at Block 202 at Toa Payoh North."

Police investigations are ongoing.
