A personal mobility device (PMD) rider narrowly avoided getting hit by a Lamborghini and van along Sims Way towards the Pan Island Expressway on Dec 25.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared footage he took from his car cam that he posted on YouTube.

In the video, the traffic light is green in favour of the drivers.

The PMD rider is seen dangerously dashing across the road in front of oncoming traffic.

The Stomper said: "Please cover this so people can see how close this PMD rider was to death or major injuries.

"I think this is such a close shave that the public really should see and align with our government's efforts."

This is not the first time PMD users have been seen riding recklessly on Singapore roads.

Earlier this month, a Certis CISCO officer was suspended for kicking a PMD user off his device at Bedok Reservoir Road.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is investigating offences committed by the PMD rider for riding a non-compliant device and failing to stop his device when required by an officer.
