Please tell these reckless e-scooter riders that Hougang Ave 8 is not their grandfathers' road

Several riders were captured on camera operating their mobility devices on the road.

According to a caption on the video of what happened posted on All Singapore Stuff, they were engaging in the reckless acts along Hougang Avenue 8.

In the video, one e-scooter rider can first be seen riding at the side of the two-lane road.

There was another person on a mobility device in front, but it is unclear if that was an e-bike or e-scooter.

After the 10-second mark, another e-scooter rider came into frame. He or she was riding in the middle of the left lane, behind a fourth mobility device.

In front of the group was a final e-scooter rider who was weaving in and out of the first and second lanes, before finally riding in the middle of the right lane.

E-scooters are not permitted on roads in Singapore, and must be ridden on pavements.

E-bikes may be used on roads, but riders and their pillions have to wear helmets.
