Plant-killing neighbour at Petir Road: Town council responds

Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council has responded to an incident regarding a neighbourly dispute at Petir Road.

Stomper Elsie earlier reported how her neighbour has been committing various acts of harassment against her family over the years.

She also caught her neighbour pouring and splashing an unknown substance at her potted plants along the corridor on March 30.

The Stomper said she has been trying to get approval to have a CCTV camera installed outside her unit, but to no avail.

In response to a Stomp query, Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council confirmed that it had received calls from Elsie on the specific application of a surveillance camera (CCTV).

A spokesman said: "She has also provided feedback on the insistent harm caused by her immediate neighbour on her plants.

"Our property team has advised her on the adequate process for the installation of CCTV as well as possible solutions as proposed by the police."
