The first three floors of People's Park Complex were flooded during a bout of heavy rain on Monday afternoon (June 3).

Stomper Jeremy, who works at the property, alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and a video taken at the scene at about 1.50pm.

Several store workers left buckets along the corridor to collect the rainwater.

According to Jeremy, the rain probably got into the building from the carpark levels on the third to fifth floors.

"Every time it rains, the carpark is always flooded," he said.

"This time, the water trickled down to the lower floors.

"The security guards and cleaners are very busy right now."

At 1.12pm, the National Environment Agency (NEA) issued a heavy rain warning on Twitter, saying that moderate to heavy thundery showers were expected over many areas of Singapore between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

The Public Utilities Board (PUB) also shared updates regarding flash floods at Craig Road and Commonwealth Lane.

Several Stompers shared photos and videos of the flash floods that hit parts of Singapore.
