Stomper David was annoyed after he stepped on wet paint at a traffic junction near Toa Payoh Stadium today (Aug 5) at about 1pm.

After realising that there was wet paint on the road, David quickly tried to scrape it off, but to no avail.

In fact, it got worse, as sand and gravel started getting stuck to the slippers.

According to David, there had been no sign indicating that there was a paint job, and he did not see anyone painting either.

Said David:

“My slippers are ruined because an irresponsible contractor engaged to paint the road markings didn’t put up any signage or cordoned off the area before the paint dried up.

“Imagine how someone wearing a pair of limited edition shoes would have felt if they stepped on the paint like me.”
