Passer-by touched to see cabby helping passenger carry bulky items to Yishun void deck

A passer-by was heartened to see a taxi driver alighting from his vehicle to help a passenger carry bulky items to a void deck.

Stomper Someone witnessed the touching sight at Block 305 Yishun Central on Thursday night (June 24), at around 9.20pm.

He did not manage to capture the incident itself on camera, but shared a video showing the cabby returning to his taxi.

The Stomper said: "Kudos to this ComfortDelGro taxi driver. He actually alighted to help a passenger carry bulky items and some paper bags to the void deck.

"Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to see his licence plate number.

"A little kindness goes a long way.

"I hope ComfortDelGro can name him as Taxi Driver of The Month as he deserves to be recognised."
