PAB rider sent flying after getting hit by car in Bedok

A 34-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car while riding his power-assisted bicycle (PAB) in Bedok on Saturday evening (June 26).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident along 450 Upper Changi Road at 6.30pm.

The PAB rider was conscious when taken to hospital.

Facebook page SG Road Vigilante posted a video of the incident and said it was a hit-and-run, adding that the PAB rider made an "illegal right turn against traffic flow".

Police investigations are ongoing.
