PAB catches fire at Punggol Way

A power-assisted bicycle (PAB) caught fire outside Nibong LRT station in Punggol on Thursday afternoon (June 17).

Stomper Johan shared a photo of the charred bicycle on a footpath.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a fire involving a PAB near 41 Punggol Way at around 3.10pm.

SCDF extinguished the fire using a dry powder fire extinguisher.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
