A Stomper was at Kallang Riverside Park yesterday (Jul 31) morning when he spotted a family of otters racing towards him.

In a video shared by the Stomper, about 10 otters are seen running on the footpath.

The otters made their way up a staircase before climbing back down onto the path again.

They then entered the river by slipping through gaps in the barriers.

The video then ends with a scene showing the otters waddling in the water.

The Stomper said: "It was at 10.25am when I saw them.

"I have seen otters two or three times before, and I feel happy seeing them."

This was not the first time otters were spotted by our readers, but they certainly are a welcomed sight.

On June 12, a Stomper described three otters who were spotted swimming and playing around near Kembangan MRT station as cute.

And on May 30, another family of otters was seen wrestling with one another under a flyover along Punggol Waterway Park, and the Stomper said he would have stayed longer to watch if only he was free.
