The National Service Resort and Country Club (NSRCC) is looking to improve their existing drainage system after a torrential downpour on Wednesday (Dec 9) led to flooding on the club's premises.

Stomper Casey shared a circulated video of the flood at the foyer of the country club, which is located at Changi Coast Walk.

In the video, a woman walks through the flood in heels as the heavy rain continues to pour in the background.

A man can be seen pushing water out of what appears to be a reception area.

Two men in yellow boots can also be seen wading through the water as one of the men picks up a shoe from the ground.

Casey, who was not at the club at the time, said: "Look at how the foyer is flooded because of the heavy downpour on Wednesday."

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman for NSRCC said: "The downpour was heavier than normal and NSRCC is currently looking at ways to improve our existing drainage system to ensure that such instances do not occur again when freak weather happens."
