The National Parks Board (NParks) has cleared a tree after it fell along Old Upper Thomson Road on Wednesday (Nov 4).

Stomper Rohaizat saw circulated photos of the fallen tree online and sent them to Stomp.

In the photos, a police car and three police officers can be seen at the scene.

"A huge tree fell along Old Upper Thomson Road, just after the entrance of Upper Pierce Reservoir," Rohaizat said.

NParks was alerted to the fallen tree, which is known as a Malayan Teak (Vitex pinnata), along Old Upper Thomson Road at around 12.30pm.

The tree, which was around 20m tall with a girth of 2.8m, was cleared by about 3.30pm.

Earlier this week on Monday (Nov 3), NParks also cleared a fallen tree after it fell during a heavy downpour.
