Nowhere to go this December? Check out the new Christmas Village at Ngee Ann Civic Plaza

If you are wondering where you should go to this Christmas, stop hesitating and head down to the new Christmas Village that is setted up outside Ngee Ann Civic Plaza for the first time.

The village, themed “Endless Wonders”, will make its debut at the annual Orchard Road light-up this year, featuring pop-up stores from more than 25 brands including Haagen Dazs, SK-II, Tiffany & Co, reports Coconuts Singapore.

The 2.88km stretch from Tanglin Mall to Plaza Singapura are to be covered with lights, each of the 1,200 hanging light bulbs that will be strung onto trees consists of coloured fabric intertwined with LED lights, reports Inside Retail Asia.

Light-reflective tunnels, illusive galaxies and an enchanted forest will also be featured.

This year, Christmas cheer will also begin at 3pm instead of the usual 6.30pm.

Besides the village, interesting highlights such as the highest ever 12m-tall main arch outside Ion Orchard, and a mesmerising five metres tall Enchanted Tree installation outside Wisma will be featured.

Live bands, carollers and roving cosplayers will also be staging performances daily.

If that is not enough to interest you, check out the huge double-decker carousel that caters to both young and old, priced at a mere $5 per ride.

Do check out the Christmas Village from 25 November to 25 December 2017!
