Stomper Lau Lup was tickled when he came across a "threatening" note left outside an apartment unit at North Bridge Road last Friday (Nov 30).

Evidently, the note did not bring on the reaction the writer had intended.

The note is addressed to a "guest", informing him or her that the unit's owner is in-and-out of hospital.

The note read: "If you need to knock the door, please knock slowly or something might happen to you!"

Under the writer's signature is a post-script warning the reader that a CCTV is "looking on who came here".

"I was passing by Block 8 North Bridge Road at about 2.40pm when I saw this note left at a gate," said Lau Lup.

"It was so funny!

"I know it was meant to be a threat but it's written in such a funny manner that I don't feel threatened!"
