Northpoint City responds after leak causes pooling of water in mall

Shoppers at Northpoint City witnessed a water leak in the mall on Sunday afternoon (Sep 1).

Stomper Mrs R Yaziz alerted Stomp to the incident and shared that the water had pooled on the floor.

"It caused an obstruction to shoppers," she said.

"I think it might have been coming from the air-conditioning system."

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman from Northpoint City said: "On Sunday, 1 Sept at around noon, there was a minor pooling of water at Level 1 corridor of Northpoint City, North Wing, between Kiyo (#01-43/44) and Jinjja Chicken (#01-45).

"There was no damage to the property and the affected areas were cleaned up within half an hour.

"Business continued as usual across the mall."
