M'sian teen dies after bullies assault him and insert blunt object into his anus

A teenage victim of a brutal bullying case died in a hospital in Malaysia from the injuries he suffered.

The victim, 18-year-old T.Nhaveen, had been declared brain dead when he was brought to the hospital after suffering severe physical and sexual assault at the hands of bullies on Saturday (June 10).

Nhaveen and his friend T.Previin had been buying at a stall at 2.20am on Saturday when they encountered two of his former classmates, reports The New Straits Times.

The two started to call Nhaveen names and taunted him, and he responded by pleading with them not to do so before warning them to back off.

However, the two called their friends to the scene, and the group started assaulting Nhaveen and Previin.

Previin managed to flee, but Nhaveen was dragged to a nearby field where the group allegedly inserted a blunt object into his anus.

When he was found unconscious on the field, he also had burn marks on his back.

Nhaveen subsequently died in hospital yesterday.

Five suspects aged between 16 to 20 have been arrested, reports The Star.

The case, which was initially classified under Rioting With Weapons, has since been re-classified as murder.
