A 55-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car at the junction of Keppel Road and Cantonment Link on Wednesday morning (Feb 10).

Stomper Rohaizat alerted Stomp to a video circulating online of the incident that showed the collision.

In the footage taken from the in-car camera of the vehicle involved, the traffic lights are green in the car's favour.

The rider is suddenly seen coming from the left before the car crashes into it. A woman is heard screaming.

The bike and rider are seen flying and skidding along the road.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 6.51am.

"The 55-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to Singapore General Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
