Original article:

A 34-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident with a taxi along Fernvale Road towards Sengkang West Avenue on Friday (Dec 11).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 6.04pm.

"The 34-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital," added the police.

Stomper Rachel shared photos and a video of the accident scene, which show a damaged yellow taxi.

In the video, a man wearing a black shirt can be seen helping a man in a yellow shirt, who appears to be the motorcyclist involved in the accident.

The man in the yellow shirt, who has a motorcycle helmet on, then limps towards the pavement and slowly bends down to sit on the ground.

Other photos show the front of the taxi badly damaged, with the bumper almost falling off.

"The motorcyclist seems to be able to walk, so I hope it's nothing too serious," said Rachel.

"But there was an ambulance, so I think the man still needs to check whether he has any fractures."

Police investigations are ongoing.
