A 45-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident with a lorry at Paya Lebar Road on Tuesday afternoon (Jan 12).

Stomper Peanut, who sent a photo showing a FairPrice lorry at the accident scene, said he heard a loud thud at around 12.30pm.

He added: "Vehicles were turning right and the motorcycle was in the lorry's blind spot.

"I called the police."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Paya Lebar Road towards Guillemard Road and Geylang Road at 12.28pm.

The male motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Raffles Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
