Motorcyclist taken to hospital after accident with car at Hougang junction

A 39-year-old man was taken to hospital after an accident involving his motorcycle and a car in Hougang on Thursday afternoon (May 7).

The police were alerted to the accident at the junction of Hougang Avenue 8 and Hougang Avenue 10 at 2.43pm, they told Stomp in response to queries.

The motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Sengkang General Hospital.

A Stomper, who is the admin of the Alibaba Driver Group SG, shared a photo showing the motorcycle lying on its side and surrounded by debris on the road.

Two men, one of whom was wearing a GrabFood shirt, can be spotted at the scene.

Police investigations are ongoing.
