Motorcyclist skids and falls after car runs red light at Alexandra Road

A motorcyclist skid and fell while trying to avoid a car that had run a red light at Alexandra Road.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to footage of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube page.

According to the caption, this happened on Apr 30.

In the video, a car is seen moving forward despite the traffic light being red and vehicles coming from the right.

The motorcyclist brakes hard to avoid a collision but skids and falls onto the road.

Fortunately, passers-by stop to help him up again.

The car is then seen moving off once the lights turn green.

Netizens slammed the driver of the car for not stopping to help and praised the kindness of the pedestrians who did.
