Motorcyclist rides right into back of stationary car

A motorcyclist rode right into the back of a stationary car on the Seletar Expressway (SLE) on Dec 4.

A video of the incident was posted on Singapore Reckless Driver's Facebook page. According to the post's caption, the incident reportedly happened near the Lentor Avenue exit towards Ang Mo Kio at around 8.05am.

In the video, the motorcyclist is seen coming from a distance.

He does not adjust his speed at all before he hits the car in front of him that had stopped at a red traffic light.

The rider is then seen falling to the ground and rolling around in pain, clutching the right side of his body.

The driver of the car exits his vehicle to assist him.

In the comments of the post, netizens speculate that the rider may not have realised the stationary vehicles in front of him due to him being distracted or tired.

The video serves as a reminder to always be alert and that motorists should find a safe place to rest when they feel tired.
