Motorcyclist mounts pavement just before ERP gantry, then goes back on road after he passes it

A motorcyclist was caught on video mounting a pavement in order to avoid riding under an ERP gantry at Clementi Avenue 6 on Sep 26.

Stomper Tan alerted Stomp to the video that was posted on Fabrications about PAP.

In the video, the rider of the motorcycle with licence plate JPF3577 stopped his bike to mount the curb and ride on the pavement just before the gantry.

Three pedestrians were seen having to make way for the motorbike.

The rider was then seen getting back onto the road from the pavement after the gantry.

"It appears to be a motorcycle with a Malaysian plate," said Mr Tan.

"Hope the customs can stop this vehicle if the rider leaves or enter Singapore again."
