A motorcyclist was side-swiped by a car along the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) on Feb 15, but managed to stay on his bike despite the impact.

Stomper Lion King contributed a video of the incident, which occurred at around 12.18pm, in the direction of the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE).

Lion King told Stomp: "As you can see, the motorcyclist had already completely filtered into lane 3 and at that moment, a Black Toyota Harrier bearing car plate number SLH4149U from lane 4 also wanted to filter into lane 3."

A collision between the two occurred.

However, even though the motorcyclist came close to falling off his bike, he managed to right himself and ride away from the car.

Added the Stomper: "I wish this clip will be able to assist the motorcyclist in making his claims for damages and his medical fees. I wish him a speedy recovery."

The heart-stopping footage, which was also posted on ROADS.sg, has led to many netizens commending the motorcyclist for his reaction.
