Motorcyclist dies in Upper Jurong Road accident after losing control of bike and getting thrown off

A 33-year-old motorcyclist died in an accident in Upper Jurong Road on Wednesday morning (June 6).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident involving a motorcycle along Upper Jurong Road, towards Pioneer Road North, at 6.58am.

The victim was found lying motionless and was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the Malaysian motorcyclist is believed to have been thrown off his bike after losing control of it.

Witnesses told Shin Min that they saw the man and his bike lying on a grass patch. Debris and glass shards were strewn around the ground.

Police investigations are ongoing.
