Motorcyclist and pillion rider taken to hospital after accident with car on slip road from PIE

Two men were taken to hospital after a traffic accident along the slip road from the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas to Pioneer North Road on Thursday night (Aug 1).

The police told Stomp in response to queries that they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a motorcycle at 9.29pm.

The 47-year-old motorcyclist and his 55-year-old pillion rider were conscious when taken to National University Hospital.

Stomper Subash shared a video that shows paramedics at the scene.

Police investigations are ongoing.
