Motorcyclist and pillion rider taken to hospital after accident with car on Lornie Highway

Two people aged 19 and 20 were taken to hospital after an accident involving their motorcycle and a car along Lornie Highway on Wednesday morning (Feb 17).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident, which occurred in the direction of Lornie Road, at 9.50am.

The 20-year-old male motorcyclist and his 19-year-old female pillion rider were conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Stomper Freddie shared a photo showing a traffic congestion at the accident scene. Paramedics and an ambulance can also be spotted.

In a tweet at 11.13am, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) advised road users to avoid the right lane.

Police investigations are ongoing.
